Dave is Vicar of St. Luke's. He loves his job and can think of nowhere he would rather be. Dave is amazed at the changes God has enabled to take place at St. Luke's in recent years and he is certain that St. Luke's is now well placed to serve God and its local community for many years to come. The completion of the new St. Luke's Church Centre and School at Easter 2000 and our continued work in many locations around the parish means St. Luke's Church can now serve and impact its community in ways that has not been possible for many years. Dave was elected to the General Synod of the Church of England in 2000. He is interested in Urban Theology and the needs of the poor. Dave is married to Nicky who works in a local school. She is also the Director of Music at St. Luke's and heads our Sunday School Team. Jazmin is their daughter.

Capt. Chigor Chike is our Church Army Community Evangelist. Chigor's work is on the fringes of our community with the marginalized and disempowered. Chigor works on local housing issues, with the homeless and seeks to come alongside Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Chigor is a Vocations Adviser for the Deanery and has an active interest in Black Theology. Chigor takes a regular and active part in church services and heads our Healing Team. Chigor is married to Obi and they have two children Kanayo & Adobi.

Cwti Green is our Community Worker. Cwti has a wide experience of Community Development Work within an urban context. Cwti heads up our Community Development Programme and she is employed in partnership with Community Links. She does a lot of work with projects such as: Family Play Schemes, Food Co-ops, Healthy Eating Courses, Computer Access and The Arts - to name just a few! Cwti is a member of St. Luke's Church where she regularly leads worship using the experience she gained as a member of the Iona Community and her own gift for music.

St. Luke's is also blessed by having a yearly Volunteer from Careforce as our Parish Assistant. They do much good work with our Church, School and Community Projects. We also have Gabriel Anan, following his ordination in 2003, who is Serving his Title as Curate at St. Luke’s Church. To contact a member of our team please click here.
